The main benefit of getting more burners is that you can get dedicated burners. Not all three-burner grills have them, as you can see, but some do. And, this is not a feature you’re likely to find in single or dual-burner models.
Why are dedicated burners so important? That’s because they can do things the regular ones can’t always do, particularly searing. If you can find a grill with a dedicated searing station, that’s money well spent.
Of course, more burners means more overall heat generation, faster preheating times, and better temperature management.
Do Gas Grills Sear as Well as Charcoal Grills?
